This "unmanaged" public beach is a long, narrow stretch of sand with a decidedly local flavor. It's Cannes's easternmost beach and part of the Gazagnaire beach zone. Quiet and relaxed, this beach is mainly frequented by locals as there are no large hotels nearby.
Nevertheless, there are beach showers and a cheery brasserie across the street, Le Moure Rouge, for casual dining. You'll feel most safe here since there is a first-aid station.
Parking & Transport
Parking along the beach is difficult but there are usually spaces a block or two inland or along the side streets. The nearest bus stop is Esprit Violet on the 8 line.
Sports
There's a watersports center on the easternmost side where you can rent paddleboards, windsurfing boards, catamarans and sea kayaks from June to September. See cannes-jeunesse for more information.
