Le Galet Plage is the private beach-restaurant between Ruhl and Centenaire right in central Nice at the bottom of rue Halevy. Formerly known as Galion, the beach restaurant passed to new ownership in 2017.
The private beach covers a relatively large area filled with mattressed lounge chairs and umbrellas.
There's not a lot of social space to have a drink with friends except on the restaurant terrace. As there are no evening activities programed here, the early evening hours are quite calm. See more about private beaches and beach-restaurants.
Across from the wonderful Le Meridien hotel (with a rooftop pool), Le Galet draws its clientele largely from there and other hotels.
The closest bus stop Albert 1er where you'll find buses 12 and 32. The closest tram stop is Masséna on line 1.
