Voilier beach is a comfortable public beach east of Florida beach and the site of La Vela beach restaurant. Voilier beach is one of the wider beaches on the baie des anges and there's an ample public space east of the private Voilier Plage.

While not exactly sandy, the pebbles are smaller and interspersed with more gravel especially near the water line. The beach slopes gently down to the water here making sea access easier than on other beaches.

Voilier is the closest beach to the striking AC Hotel Nice by Marriott.

There's very limited hourly parking on the Promenade here.

Facilities

On the public beach, there's a portable WC in the summer. There's a public shower and toilet on the eastern end of the beach, bordering Forum beach. Clients of La Vela beach restaurant have access to a toilet and hot indoor shower.

Eating

In addition to the option of dining at La Vela beach restaurant, you could turn up ave Paul Valery where there's a Spar supermarket and a simple cafe on ave de la Californie.

Access & Map

The closest bus stop is Grosso/CUM/Promenade. You'll find buses 12 and 32. The closest tram stop is CUM on line 2 of the tramway and it's only steps away.

Safety

There's no lifeguard on duty at Voilier public beach but there is one just east at Forum.
